Simi Shah is a mission-driven media entrepreneur, strategist, speaker, and convener.

Simi is the Founder & CEO of South Asian Trailblazers, an award-winning media platform, community, and agency that elevates leading South Asians. Through their flagship podcast, Simi is known for hosting captivating interviews with trailblazers like Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan, Actor Kal Penn, and U.S. Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. Through the Trailblazers Agency, Simi advises high-profile executives and brands on strategic media, marketing, and growth opportunities. Simi has been invited to the White House, New York Stock Exchange, and has been recognized in global news outlets like Forbes and Yahoo Finance. This year, she was named to Forbes 30 Under 30.


Previously, Simi served as Chief of Staff to Indra Nooyi, the former Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo. In recent years, she also served as Head of Business Development at venture-backed media startup, Paperwork Studios. She began her career in finance at Audax Private Equity.

Beyond school and work, Simi devotes her time to investing, speaking, and writing. As of May 2025, she holds her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was named to Poets & Quants’ 100 Best & Brightest MBAs in the country. Simi holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
